Since 1983, The Polish Place on Tamborine Mountain offered a unique culinary experience, set with the perfect relaxing environment. Our food philosophy is centred on providing simplistic, yet traditional, warm and comforting food with fresh and authentic Polish flavours - all made on our premises.
Owner Ania has brought out from Poland the best homemade recipes, perfected them and over 40 years created the menu for which The Polish Place is famous for. We are humbled to have received many awards, including "Best Specialty Restaurant" in 2020 by Restaurant & Caterer's Association, and also "Best European Restaurant" on the Gold Coast in 2011, 2012, and 2013. We estimate about 1 million Pierogi have been handmade by Ania!
Popular dishes such as Bigos (sauerkraut), Pierogi, Pork Hock and the famous Roast Duck for Two with Cherries were staples, while hearty soups, salads, chicken and desserts also featured. An extensive Polish Vodka and beer list, with local and Australian wines complimented the menu. We are proud to have introduced a little touch of Poland to Australia.
