Our Restaurant was first built 40 years ago, and closed on its 40th anniversary, the 3rd September 2023. We have enjoyed 40 years of making and serving authentic Polish cuisine from Ania's homeland, many of the recipes which hail from her own mother. The signature dish, Roast Duck for Two, is the envy of every other guest and was a famous staple to the menu, in addition to Pork Hock, Pierogi, Bigos (Sauerkraut), Salmon and Chicken. Not to mention Ania's Rum Chocolate Torte!

Despite the Restaurant sadly burning down on NYE 2016...but rebuilt and reopened in September 2019, Phil & Ania have made the difficult decision to close the restaurant on their 40th Anniversary of running The Polish Place. Many achievements have been celebrated along the way, including "Best Specialty Restaurant" in 2020 by Restaurant & Caterer's Association, and also "Best European Restaurant" on the Gold Coast in 2011, 2012, and 2013. With an extensive Polish Vodka and Beer list, as well as local wines, our Polish restaurant provided an authentic Polish experience for all.
